Horae

$6,980

Horae will out-perform Rubidium Atomic Clocks in terms of short-term stability, which is often the bottleneck for digital music playback. With proprietary technology from Switzerland, Horae is the ONLY Master Clock in its price range optimized for audiophile application. Compatible clocks, if available, would cost you $40K-$50K. In another word, Horae is not made to compete with other brand name clocks, it is made to rule.

Equipped with (four) groups of 10MHz outputs and (two) groups of 22MHz/24MHz outputs, Horae will power your entire digital front end, and elevate the performance to a level you never know possible.

Titans Audio Lab Horae

The high precision of the clock core not only makes mass production impossible, but also demands weeks of dedication to meticulous manufacture / test each unit before shipping.

FAQ

Can I use Horae with any transport/streamer/server?

No, please see a list of supported devices

Do I need Horae with an ultra-High-end digital front end?

Contrary to common belief, the better your front end, the more it benefits from Horae, thanks to the extra resolution and definition such systems are capable of. Horae is itself a cost-no-objective design.

How could Horae better a Rubidium Clock?

Rubidium Atomic Clocks are good in terms of long-term stability, but short-term stability is what matters to digital audio, and where Horae excels. Test results are listed at the manufacturer’s website

What devices benefit from Horae most?

A digital source, such as a transport/streamer/server with digital output.

If your source does not support Horae, it makes little sense to use Horae only on your DAC.

Of course, Horae can power BOTH the digital source AND the DAC, if both support master clock input.

If I use Horae, does it make sense to use Helen as well?

Absolutely, please read “The Jitter Story <Link to an Article>” and learn the different aspects on which Horae and Helen are designed for.

How long is the warm up and should I leave Horae on all the time?

Horae powers on and stabilizes itself for about 30 minutes, and reaches optimal condition after about 24 hours. We do recommend that you keep Horae on all the time.

What are the A/C voltages supported?

Horae supports universal A/C voltage 100 to 240 volts, 50 or 60 Hz.

Does aftermarket/DIY power supply enhance the performance of Horae?

No, aftermarket/DIY power supply voids factory warranty and does not help Horae to perform better.

What is the factory warranty of Horae?

One-year warranty parts and labor.
